We are proud to support companies that use organic ingredients and biodegradable packaging. We are always happy when something that is good for your pet is good for the environment as well. Anita offers both routine grooming and scissor-cuts. Appointments are preferred, but drop-offs and walk-ins are accommodated whenever possible.
grew up in Syracuse, New York. Animals were always present in the family - usually dogs and cats - but over the years she rescued rabbits, sheep, and birds and also did wildlife rehab. She decided to make a career out of her passion and graduated from the New York School of Dog Grooming over twenty years ago. Anita spent many years teaching the art of pet styling as an academy instructor for a large pet retailer before deciding to join the team at Animal Care of Ponte Vedra. She loves making the dogs look and feel better and really enjoys bonding with each pet and making them comfortable with gentle handling techniques. Anita enjoys reading, music, the beach, and spending her time with family. She lives in Ponte Vedra with her cat, Sydney.
Born in Richmond, Va and raised in Jacksonville, Fl. She inherited her love of animals from her father who was always rescuing and bringing home some type of animal. Growing up, she was raised with animals such as horses, raccoons, ferrets, and many others. Her grooming career started with her being a bather and through on the job training she was able to move up to grooming, which she has been doing now for over 25 years. She has previously managed grooming departments for 2 of the largest pet retail companies in the U.S. where her skills were also utilized to train and instruct other groomers. Cathy has 2 sons, Logan and Dalton, and 2 chihuahuas, Armani and Dulce.
